EDF FESPAN PROJECT
A closer look at Task 6 of the European Defence Fund FESPAN (Forecasting Electromagnetic Signal Propagation Anomalies) project: it focuses on the development of codes for electromagnetic propagation models, essential for simulating and understanding how electromagnetic waves behave under different conditions and for providing a strong technical foundation for the project.
At Freespace, our team has played a key role in this task, working to ensure robust and dependable algorithms that support the project’s wider objectives. Through the development of these codes, we contribute to advancing electromagnetic propagation research and enabling innovative solutions for small satellite applications.
This work not only strengthens Freespace’s technical expertise, but also demonstrates the company’s ability to deliver advanced solutions for real-world space applications and practical use cases.
